Packphoto1In an alliance with SMC Recordings and Universal Music Group, Alphasonik has announced a promotional collaboration and celebrity sponsorship with hip-hop group, The Pack. This collaboration comes just in time for The Pack’s upcoming album release Wolfpack Party scheduled for release in August 24, 2010.

“In the coming weeks, Alphasonik will be announcing an exciting promotion featuring The Pack’s upcoming album release,” stated Rainier de Ocampo, Alphasonik’s Marketing representative. “We’re pumped to have The Pack join the Alphasonik family and look forward to sponsoring this promotion.”

Hailing from the Bay Area, The Pack has evolved their own sound, taking its up-tempo grooves and techno-influenced texture to new extremes. Their early claim to fame happened in 2006 with their smash hit, “Vans.” Their musical ode to the famous footwear brand became so popular, the godfather of Bay Area hip-hop, Too Short, signed the still-in-high-school crew to his label, Up All Nite, and eventually Jive Records.

“The Pack’s new album is meant to be played loud,” said Will Bronson, SMC Recording’s Chief Operating Officer, “So partnering with a high-end car stereo company like Alphasonik is an amazingly natural fit.”

The Pack are always ahead of the curve and with their sophomore effort, Wolfpack Party, that trend continues as it features production by Young L with additional help from hit making new comers, The Cataracs, keeping them musically as leaders of “the pack”.   The guys are currently on tour with Chiddy Bang and have just released the second track off their album, Sex On The Beach. The song is now available on iTunes as deluxe single with two bonus tracks.
